Missing Edmonton hiker found dead in Kananaskis Country

An Edmonton man who was reported missing earlier this week while connected a hiking travel successful Kananaskis Country has been recovered dead, according to RCMP.

In a news release, Turner Valley RCMP confirmed that Milenko Todic, 66, was recovered precocious Friday day successful nan area wherever he had been hiking.

On Monday, constabulary said they received a telephone connected July 6 astir an overdue hiker.

Todic’s family reported they hadn’t heard from him since 4:30 p.m. connected July 5, adding that it was different not to perceive from him for truthful agelong while he was hiking.

“He had been hiking successful Kananaskis astatine Holy Cross Mountain, adjacent Highway 541,” nan RCMP said astatine nan time.
