City of Lethbridge announces new encampment outreach approach

Community Social Development (CDS), nan Lethbridge Police Service and nan Watch programme are partnering to return a caller attack to encampment outreach, aiming to supply enhanced services for nan city’s susceptible population.

The caller attack includes a caller outreach conveyance and 2 outreach specialists.

The specialists will supply lawsuit readying to thief link individuals to a strategy of care, while supporting their circumstantial needs.

The caller attack was announced during an encampment strategy update astatine Tuesday’s regular assembly meeting.

The city’s 2023-26 operating fund allocated $260,000 for outreach services from 2024 to 2026.
