Another emergency room closed in B.C. due to lack of staffing

Rural hospitals crossed B.C. proceed to woody pinch emergency room closures owed to a deficiency of disposable staff.

The emergency room astatine Lillooet Hospital will beryllium closed from 7 a.m. connected Monday until 8 a.m. connected Tuesday according to Interior Health.

There were 79 closures astatine hospitals operated by Interior and Northern Health successful July.

Of nan 28 astatine Interior Health, 10 were successful Williams Lake, followed by six successful Oliver and Merritt.

Northern Health was forced to adjacent emergency rooms 47 times.

Haida Gwaii saw 15 closures followed by 8 successful Chetwynd and Terrace.
